As you can see from the list, you will handle most of the selections using
the Left-Click and the SHIFT key. There are also some important
shortcuts for object selection:
B key: Makes a box selection, which draws a rectangular shape in
your interface. All objects in the box area will be selected. If you
hold the SHIFT key while drawing the box, you will remove the
objects from the selection.
A key: Add all objects to the selection if you don't have anything
selected.
ALT+A: Removes all objects from a selection.
CTRL+I: Invert the selection, which is a great way to get multiple
objects selected and leave just a few unselected.
Besides selection shortcuts, you will also find a few options to select
objects in the 3D Viewport Toolbar (Figure 1.17).
